Blade Roast
Oven-Braised Beef Blade Roast
Preheat oven to 160–170°C.
Place the beef blade roast in a roasting dish or ovenproof pot.
Add enough liquid (stock, water, or wine) to come about ⅓–½ way up the meat.
Cover tightly with foil or a lid.
Cook for 2.5–3 hours, until the meat is very tender and pulls apart easily.
Rest for 10 minutes before slicing or shredding.
BBQ Beef Blade Roast (Indirect Heat)
Preheat BBQ to low heat and set up for indirect cooking.
Place the roast in a covered tray with a small amount of liquid.
Cook with the lid closed for 2.5–3 hours, turning occasionally.
Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
