Beef Osso Bucco

Cut from the shin with the marrow bone included, Amelia Park Beef Osso Bucco is a traditional favourite for slow cooking and braising. As it simmers, the marrow infuses the sauce with a rich depth of flavour while the meat becomes incredibly tender, creating a luxurious and soul-warming meal.

Cooking Instructions

Oven-Braised Beef Osso Bucco
Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
Season the beef lightly (optional) and sear in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes per side.
Place beef in a braising dish or ovenproof pot with liquid (stock, wine, or a mix) covering about 2/3 of the meat.
Cover and cook 2–3 hours, until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

BBQ/Slow-Cook Method
Preheat BBQ or smoker to low heat (~120–140°C / 250–275°F).
Place beef on indirect heat.
Cook for 2–3 hours, turning occasionally, until tender.
Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
