Lamb Shoulder Roast

Tender, juicy, and easy to carve, Amelia Park Lamb Shoulder Roast Boneless is perfect for roasting or slow-cooking. A versatile cut that delivers rich, comforting lamb flavour every time.

Cooking Instructions

Oven-Roasted Boneless Lamb Shoulder
Preheat oven to 160–170°C (320–340°F).
Place the boneless roast in a roasting pan. Optionally, add a splash of stock or water to the pan to keep it moist.
Cover loosely with foil.
Roast for 2–2.5 hours for medium, or until the meat is tender and easily slices.
Remove foil in the last 20–30 minutes to develop a golden exterior.
Rest for 10–15 minutes before carving.

BBQ / Indirect Heat Method
Preheat BBQ to low-medium heat (~150°C / 300°F).
Place the roast on indirect heat in a covered tray with a little liquid.
Cook for 2–2.5 hours, turning occasionally, until tender.
Rest for 10–15 minutes before serving.
